Job Summary:

As the Manager of Security & Surveillance, you will provide strategic direction and guidance to the Security function and activities to increase customer satisfaction and ensure internal controls and safety measures are effectively enforced. You will become the liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement and emergency agencies. You will exercise good judgment in the review of circumstances and incidents to determine appropriate actions within the limits of policies, procedures, and protocol. This position is salaried at $82,000.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Responsible for the overall security & surveillance operations
  • Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
  • Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
  • Review, investigate, and implement corrective plans on all incident, medical, and surveillance reports to ensure departmental compliance with internal controls, policies, and all applicable regulations
  • Perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System
  • Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the voluntary Colorado Self-Exclusion Program Assist
  • Support the overall integrity of gaming at the casino
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Keeps the General Manager informed of relevant activities

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field plus at least five years of experience in security operations, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming Key license.
  • High level public relations and customer service skills are required.
  • Must be able to work any hours as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift
  • Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard
  • Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language
