Job Summary:

Greet restaurant guests with a positive, friendly attitude. Serve guests in a timely manner to ensure that they have a favorable dining experience. Oversee all Food & Beverage activities and team members on assigned shift as needed and directed by Food & Beverage Shift Manager. Promote the L.U.C.K.Y culture through actions and positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
  • Appropriately use all related equipment, including cash registers, Micros, and credit card machines.
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff and monitor for timely and proper completion.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for all food and beverage outlets.
  • Review, approve, and administer disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Accurately collect payment for meals and give change when needed.
  • Promptly and correctly serve all items ordered by guests.
  • Order and stock food and beverage items and maintain inventory control.
  • Clean all areas of the restaurant and all equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met at all times.
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
  • Keep the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's KC and departmental management.
  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain Colorado Gaming Commission occupational license, food handler's license, Kansas City, Missouri liquor permit, and TIPS certification.
  • Understand and adhere to all liquor control laws and regulations, sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food and alcohol, and any other federal, state, and/or local regulations.
  • Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, and copy machine.
  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, write, and understand somewhat complex instructions.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Understand and adhere to all Colorado gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift
  • Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard
  • Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language
